LaS VeGaS!

We went to Vegas this last weekend to visit Kelly and her family. Marcus' girlfriend has never been and was wanting to go so her and my mom went and I decided to go along with them. It was a really fun time. It can get pretty interesting taking kids up on the strip. But oh well, it doesn't happen to often. We really missed Kara!!! She couldn't come and it would have been even better if she could have been there!

We had a blast at the swimming pool Kel took us too. It was a community pool where one of her friends lives. It had this little kid pool with a this water fountain in the middle that you could stand in. It kept Rylee very entertained and Taylor loved it too.

Taylor was getting sprayed in the face like crazy and she didn't even care! It was cute!

Ry and I had our picture taken in one of those little booths and then it drew it. It was pretty cool!
My mom, Kelly, Maria, me, and Gary. I think people seriously thought we were polygamists cause we were all just following Gary around with strollers and kids. Gary was taking this pic for us and this guy came up and was like "hey pop, get in the picture and why aren't all these kids in it?" It was funny.
Rylee and Maria in FAO Schwartz. Ry loved this store. There were so many toys she went crazy over them!
We went to dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. A lady came around and made balloon animals for the kids. They loved them. This restaurant was sooooo much fun! It was this huge rain forest with all these big animals that moved and made noises. It rained and thundered and everything. It was so much fun!!

Rylee loved sun tanning. She thought she was so big laying out when Maria was. She wanted to be just like her.

Just some fun pics of the girls in Kelly's back yard.

The Bellagio was my favorite. It always is. I love their flower garden but it was way different this time. It had a huge bird nest with big white baby birds and a huge willow railroad track with trains going around and an enormous train made out of leaves and flowers. It was very neat but different. But it was perfect for Rylee. She LOVES LOVES LOVES trains. We couldn't get her away.

Camping and.....Well sorta fishing trip!

Tay loved laying on her quilt and looking around. Something she had definitely not seen before.

Jon has been dying to go camping and fishing. We have not been at all this summer which is unusual for him. So we decided to take our little family camping and fishing. We just went up to Duck Creek. Our girls did so well. Rylee abolutely loved it. The fishing was a lot different than daddy thought it would be. Jon thought that by the way Rylee was talking about fishing, she would do so well and that it would be his regular ol' fishing but he couldn't have been more wrong. Ry just wanted to throw rocks in the water and she didn't want real bait on her pole, just the rubber fish that came with the pole. So when she went to cast it out, it got stuck on a rock and that Rylee attitude that we all know came right on out. She started screaming at the top of her lungs and threw her pole down the shore and went running. Pretty sure it scared all the fish away for the other people fishing, that is probably why they were glaring at us. Ha ha. It was a fun time though!

Mommy and "T"
Dad and Ry cooking hot dogs.
Rylee sat in this position on this rock for a good couple hours. Here is the reason why......
This isn't just a chipmunk. First it was Alvin the chipmunk, but it ended up being Simon. She kept telling Jon she wanted to pick it up and he told her it would bite her and she said "But Simon doesn't bite on the movie dad" This little rodent was the highlight of Rylee's trip. Mom and dad loved him too because he kept her entertained while we loaded up the car. We'll miss you Simon! ha ha

This is a video of Rylee and Simon. She threw out pretzels and watched him come get them all morning. These little animals sure aren't afraid to get close to people when they want food!

Rylee was so excited about the whole fire thing. She always thought there needed to be new wood on the fire and pretty soon we noticed that she had used up all our firewood. So at the crack of dawn we went to buy a bundle of wood from the camp host's. Thank goodness for the camp host eh?

Jon made up this little game at the pool the other day. He was calling it "the boat". Ry absolutely loved it. He is the best dad to our girls. The both light up whenever he gets home. Rylee is practically waiting in her swimming suit the minute he walks in the door.

YEAH! Pool Weather!

Rylee loves the pool! She would stay all day if she could!
Kissy Face
Tay actually loves the water too. Just like her sister!
Daddy and the girls. Just after I took this picture, Rylee head bunted Taylor and she went bizerk!!! So much for the sweet big sister eh!

Summer Games opening ceremonies

So this is basically why we bought tickets, is to see the mascots, especially the crazy jazz bear! He was insane this year. But you should have seen, not Rylee, but Jon when we saw Cosmo, the BYU cougar. Jon said he had to get a pic of Rylee and Cosmo but I KNOW he wanted one. I guarantee he was thinking... Please let that be Bronco Mendenhall under that cougar costume!
The Salt Lake Bee
So Rylee loves her dad! There are never pics of me with Rylee because she always wants her dad. That's ok cause Jon loves it. They are little buds!
Rylee was so excited the whole day for the fireworks, but little did we know that Taylor would love them too. She sat like this the whole time and watched every firework. She loved it!

I thought this video was funny. Rylee loves making Tay laugh. But as kids usually are a little rough, I ended up having to shut the video off and saving Taylor.

Random Pics

Eating baby food and loving it! Now she needs a high chair eh? Taylor is finally rolling over and sitting a little bit. Its so fun.
My Little Bathtub Babes! These two little girls love the water more than anyone I've ever seen.
