8 Random Things About Erin Winters

Ok so I am the most boring person ever and have no interesting things about me but oh well, here goes.....

1. I LOVE being a mom more than anything in this world! I love having two beautiful little girls who wake up in the morning looking for their mom to give her a big smile and a hug!!!! Its the best feeling in the world.

2. I eat frozen peas!!!! Sounds disgusting I know, but it is something I picked up from my mom and guess what, Rylee only wants peas frozen, she doesn't want them cooked. Yeah it must be genetic. Ha Ha

3. In high school, my girlfriends used to call me Er-hole (Jenna, Suz, and Cassa). My mom absolutely hated it because, of course, she thought, it sounded disgusting. What is even better is we called my friend Cassa, Cas-hole! How funny is that. Oh man, I miss those days with the girls. You guys were the best!!!!

4. I get POST PARDOM depression after I have my babies. It is the most scary, out of control, crazy feeling mental state I have ever been in. It is by far the most difficult thing I have been through in my entire life!!!!!! It is a hard thing to explain or understand unless you have been through it. I am just getting through it again after my second baby and am feeling great again but it took a long time to feel normal. ( I'm lucky to have a good family to help take care of me and my kids. Don't know what I would have done without Meladie this time around. Thanks Mel, I will never forget it!)

5. I think I would die if there were no more mashed potatoes, or any side dish consisting of potatoes, left in this world! I cannot eat a meal without a side. I would rather have a bowl of mashed potatoes and no meat. I could never in my life go on a high protein diet because I could not live without carbs!!! Ok this tag is making me look like a terrible person. Oh well!!

6. My biggest pet peeve is people that chew on ICE!!! Kara and Mom, I am talking to you... Ha ha. I cannot stand that crunching sound. Kara and my mom could tell you how many dirty looks they got throughout their lives when they chewed on ice. I think they did it to annoy me purpously. J/k Kara, I love ya! But its ok if I chew ice cause I can't tell how bad it sounds. WOw I am pathetic.

7. I am hopelessly addicted to GREY'S ANATOMY!! I kept thinking I could live without it during the writers strike but oh no! I cannot! Jon will walk in and start laughing at me cause I am watching a romantic part with a huge grin on my face. He just cracks up but what can I do.... Derek and Meredith are together again!!!!!!!!

8. Last but not least.... I am a really shy person and don't go out of my way to talk to people I don't know. IT makes me come across as not a very friendly person, but if people talk to me I am nice, I promise.

Well this was fun but made me look really bad, but oh well, I definitely come with some quirks.

On Memorial Day......

Thinking of you, Robbie, this Memorial weekend. I can't believe we are thinkin of you on this weekend. I doesn't seem for real. We miss you and wish you were still here but know you are doing the lords work. We love you Heather, Patrick, and soon little Robbie Jr. We are thinking of you all the time and are always here if you ever need anything!

Also to Kelly's sweet little babies, Brooklyn and Brandon. Thinking of you two so much this weekend especially and know that you are watching over your family! Love ya Kel!

Who is the better singer? Jon shares his singing voice way more than I do. He doesn't care if he sounds good or not and I'm pretty sure the neighbors hear when he does.

So I haven't posted much because we haven't done much lately. Jon is so busy that I usually just hang out at home and do nothing. I'm looking forward to the nice weather so I can at least be outside. Jon is gonna be student teaching in Delta this fall so we will only be in Cedar City until the end of July. I hope everything works out and hopefully he will find a job right after student teaching. I hope!!!!!!

So Rylee was begging me to let her push Taylor in her baby stroller one day. So with me standing next to her, I let her push her down the hall. She loved it and so did Tay. Dont worry it was a one time thing!

Pool Party

It was our nephew Patricks 1st birthday and Heather had planned to go to the swimming pool but it just happened to be closed that day for cleaning. So we settled for swimmin at grandma's house which was a blast! Rylee would not let me take close up pics of her. See that cup in her hand, well it was thrown at the camera when I tried to get her to say cheese. OOOh she is lucky she didn't break the camera. Ha Ha
All the kids loved grandma's pool. Patrick's cousin's sure helped him get used to the water. He didn't like it at first but got used to it. Happy B day Patrick! We sure wish your daddy was there to celebrate with us!

If you can't tell what this is on their heads, it is a potato bag. I was feeding Taylor and Ry walked in with the bag on her head and one in her hand and said "here's Taylor's beanie". It was so freaking hilarious! So I had to take a picture. They kinda turned out blurry but I don't care. It probably will never happen again.

Rylee loves hanging with grandpa Pace. They are always chasing each other around. Usually Rylee ends up crying even though she totally eggs it on. Its pretty funny! We spend a lot of time home because Jon is gone so much with school and work and we get bored. I sound like a mean wife cause Jon works so much but we just figured it would work out better. Thank goodness Jon will be done soon cause it has been ROUGH!

Dad finally came after a long week of school and work and him and Rylee went over to the neighbors to jump on the tramp. Rylee loves it and most definitely loves her Daddy!
This is grandpa winters four wheeler. Rylee looks happy but we didn't take a picture of what she looked like as we tried to get her on it. She cried and screamed. She was still pretty skeptical sitting on it. She would not let me ride it cause she said "I would fall off." She is a worrier. I should mention the reason she is scared of four wheelers is cause grandma pace told her about grandpa pace's accident that he had and had to ride in a helicopter to a hospital. Good job grandma pace! ha ha!

This is little Taylor just out of the bathtub. She absolutely loves the bath. It is the highlight of her day! Her towel is humongous on her, I love it!
Rylee and Taylor had just gotten out of the bath and Taylor was in her crib. Rylee decided she would go get in the crib too. She loves Tay and always gives her hugs and kisses but sometimes I think she might strangle her cause she squeezes her so tight. Its kinda scary and Taylor HATES it. But how do you tell the big sister she can't hug or kiss her baby sister?

Dad had to help me roll the ball down the lane first, but then I got the hang of it. It took about five minutes for the ball to get down the lane .

Taylor was blessed on March 17th. Her aunt Heather bought her this pretty dress. She looked beautiful!

Together again! We spent a few weeks away from dad while visiting the grandparents. We Jon finally came, Ry wouldn't leave his side. She said "I missed you so much daddy"!

This is Rylee riding her bike in the summer of 07.

Both of the girls fell asleep on me one night. I had to have Jon come help me get up.

Taylor Winters has arrived!

Taylor was born on January 3, 2008 at 8:30 PM. She weighed7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 inches long. We are so glad she is finally here.

Rylee is finally a big sister, but she is a little nervous about this new little arrival. When she came to see us right after she was born, Rylee wouldn't come near me because I was hooked up to different things. She was TERRIFIED of the hospital bed!

Me and Taylor. It was a pretty quick but exhausting labor. I was wanting an epidural but it didn't end up working so I got to do it natural. I would never to that normally like so many other brave women. But I got through it and am glad she is here!
Taylor and dad. Jon hasn't had sleep in two days. He came off a grave shift and came to the hospital for the 16 hours of labor. He is so tired. I let him go home and sleep after she was born.
This is Rylee the next morning. She is a lot happier today and actually let me give her a hug. I think she has the sweetest smile on her face.
