Christmas Day

Rylee finally got her bike! She has wanted one all year. Her birthday and Christmas are both in the middle of snow so she has been riding inside. It is funny!
I look hidious in this picture but Taylor was sick and slept through opening presents so I had to put a picture with her. This is me with my pressure cooker. Yeah!!
Rylee with her new baby.
Jon and Rylee went for a drive to find some clear road. And they did!

The only other picture I have of Tay on Christmas. She was so sick. She slept almost all day.

Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve and morning at my parents and spend the rest of Christmas morning and day at Jon's. It was fun to spend time with family and friends.
This is a picture of Jon and the girls on Christmas Eve. They were looking for rudolph's red nose in the sky. It was cute!
These two pics are of Santa on Christmas Eve. He comes around to every house on Christmas Eve in Leamington. Rylee was so excited looking at him out the window but as soon as he stepped in the door, she was gone. The first picture is of her hiding in the kitchen so Santa couldn't see her. She was watching Kelly's little boy Boston sit on his lap. He was definitely not afraid!

I love this picture. Rylee is telling Taylor to stay out of the tree. I think her face is hilarious!

My Baby is Walking!!!

I cannot believe she is walking already. It makes them seem like they aren't babies anymore. She is such a sweetie though. She likes to follow Rylee everywhere she goes.

A few random ones....

Rylee was in the primary christmas program. She and her little Sunbeam class were sheep. Ry was a cute little sheep. I was very surprised she sat up there and sang after a very tramatic dance recital this month where she stood on the stage with her hands over her face and her teacher had to carry her off stage. Anyways, she did so good except she wouldn't stop picking her nose!!!! WOW!! It is a nervous thing thing she does and it doesn't look so great but we were proud of her for standing up there and singing.
Dad and Ry in the snow building a fort.

We had the twelve days of Christmas done to us this year and one night they gave our girls matching pj's and I had to get a picture. They looked so cute.

Cousins!!! What else can I say! They love getting their pics taken. Especially the one in the middle!!

Catching Up!

Well its been a little while since I caught us up. This last month has been crazy and fun! Jon has finished student teaching and is has been substituting the whole month of December which has been nice. This month has been full of seeing family, Christmas parties, dance recitals, sickness (Taylor got tubes in ears and got salmonella poisoning in the same week!!), and not to mention the big jolly man himself! I finally have nothing to bribe Rylee with anymore. First it was her birthday and then santa and now nothing to bribe her into being good. Any ideas??? Taylor, is doing well and is WALKING!!! My baby is walking. She is just the sweetest little thing ever. Always sick, always something going on with her but she usually always has a smile on her face. Anyways, here are some pics I have taken recently.

Rylee is 4 !!!!!

Rylee finally turned 4 this week. She had a great birthday as long as no one told her Happy Birthday. Family would call and talk to her for a second and then say Happy Birthday and as soon as they said those two words, she would set the phone down or hand it to me. She did not want any sort of attention on her for some reason. It was very weird. Then we had a little party that night and had her grandparents and aunt Heather there. She loved opening presents and having dinner but as soon as we lit the candles and started to sing, She started screaming!!! Face bright red and yelling "stop singing"!!!!!!! THen she started crying and we finally stopped singing. It was very very sad. As soon as we stopped, she wiped her eyes and went back to playing with her presents. I have a video but it is really sad so I didn't post it. But she had a fun birthday anyways. Thanks to her grandparents and aunt heather for the great gifts!!!!
Dr. Winters and her patient Taylor. She got a dr. kit from her grandma pace and we were her patient's all day long. Even my mom's dog was getting shots and her "blood plessure" taken, as she would say. She loved it so much!
Rylee holding her Dr. kit
Jon woke Rylee up at seven on her birthday and wanted her to open some presents. She said "Dad, maybe later I'm still tired." But he pulled her out of bed anyways. She was happy when she started opening her presents.

I am now a professional cake maker, HA HA HA!!

I am totally embarassed to post this but I just had too. This is supposed to be a castle. In the book that I got it from, it REALLY looked like one. My mom and I began making this at four o clock in the afternoon and finished at midnight. WHY????? Well, because when I finished, it was leaning bad!! So we cut off some pieces and rearranged to make it look better but it didn't. Everyone that looked at it laughed except my awesome dad who somehow managed to say it look great without even a grin on his face. Love ya dad! We made at least three batches of icing. I am stating right now : I WILL NEVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE MY CHILD A CAKE THAT IS NOT FLAT AGAIN. NEVER!!!!! IF IT IS A ONE LAYER CAKE WITH ONE LAYER OF ICING, IT WILL COME FROM A STORE! SORRY GIRLS! Oh well, it is a picture to laugh at I guess. Thanks mom for standing for eight hours straight to make this cake that looks more like a church than a castle, even though you were sick.

A Visit With Santa!

Look who is SOOO excited to see Santa. Or maybe terrified is a better word. She was just fine standing right by him but when it came time for her to sit on his lap, then came the freak show. He was such a nice santa and was trying so hard but Rylee did not care. She liked burrying her face in my thigh better!
Taylor was a bit of an improvement from Rylee but she didn't like him too well either. What can I say, I was afraid of him too when I was little!
Waiting in line was a whole other story. Ry had a blast! Her and her cousins loved posing for me. (Especially Macie!) Man I love her poses. She's so funny!
Tay and I waiting in line.
